Build the substructure and lay the boards

Once you approve the quote, we set the footings, posts, bearers and joists as a substructure framed to AS1684, with spans and spacing sized to your deck and boards. In high termite-pressure areas we build with treated or durable-class timber, or steel or composite framing, and use stainless or coastal-grade fixings near salt and canals. Then we lay your decking boards to a clean, even line, with concealed fasteners where the profile suits.

Finish, oil or seal and clean up
